St Ninian’s High School is a six-year co-educational Catholic School in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. The school serves the areas of Clarkston, Giffnock, Thornliebank, Woodfarm, Newton Mearns, Eaglesham and Busby in East Renfrewshire and Arden, Darnley, and Deaconsbank in Glasgow.
The schools eco-club started in 2007 and has obtained the Eco-Schools Scotland Bronze and Silver Awards. The Club is now working towards obtaining Green Flag status for the school. They are currently looking at the areas of Litter and Waste Minimisation.

Go Greener Day is on Sunday 5th October from 12pm at Eastwood Park Theatre and Carmichael Hall. This day is to promote what you can do to tackle climate change in your area. There will be various information stalls and competitions, the science centre are providing kids activities, talks on how you can do your bit from River City’s Heather and others, music and drama and a farmers market with a chocolate fountain! Should be a good day for all the family, spread the word.
